This page explains, in plain English, what happens to personal information when you use this website or get in touch. Navonmesh is an independent UK technology consultancy, and is responsible for the personal information described here. The short version: we collect as little as possible, keep it only as long as needed, and never sell it.

What we collect

This website does not use cookies, analytics or contact forms. When you browse it, we do not collect personal information about you.

Our hosting provider keeps brief server logs — the address requested, the time, and your IP address — for security and troubleshooting. Those logs are managed by the host, kept for a short period, and are not used to identify you or build a profile of you.

If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, email address and message. We keep that correspondence so we can reply and maintain a record of our work together.

How enquiries are handled

Emails are read by the person doing the work, not a call centre. We use them to answer your questions and, if you become a client, to deliver the work you asked for. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to anyone else. Once a conversation has ended and there is no ongoing reason to keep it, we delete the correspondence.

Legal bases (UK GDPR)

For enquiries we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. For client work we rely on the contract between us and, where applicable, your consent. You can ask us to delete an enquiry, or object to us keeping it, at any time.

Cookies and analytics

None. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking of any kind. If that ever changes — for example, if we add a tool that measures how the site is used — we will update this page and ask for your consent before anything is stored on your device.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, ask us to delete it, or object to us keeping it. Requests are handled promptly and without charge.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
